Cedar Grilling Planks

Cooking with planks is an excellent way to create your own grilled gourmet meals at home. As the plank’s underside burns, a delicious, smoky flavor permeates the food on top. Planks also act as a barrier from the fire’s direct heat to help keep foods moist and juicy as they cook. Cedar planks pair great with seafood and vegetables, but can also be used with poultry, beef and pork. You can also use cedar planks to cook cheeses, fruits and pizza.

Instructions
HOW TO USE

Submerge a grilling plank in water for a minimum of one hour. Place your proteins or vegetables on the plank and apply your desired seasonings.

Grill as you normally would, but keep an eye on the plank to ensure it does not burn. Cover the plank with food to reduce the chance of it flaming up.

Dispose of the plank after use.
