Submerge the Grilling Plank in water for a minimum of one hour.
Place fish fillet (or other meat) on the Grilling Plank, skin down. Then apply your desired seasonings to the top side of the fillet.
Preheat your gas or charcoal grill to approximately 350 degrees. Then place the seasoned fillet and plank on the grill.
When the fish is golden brown, remove the plank from the grill.
(Be careful-it’s HOT!)
Dispose of plank after use.
Be sure the flames are on the grill are low enough so that they do not burn the plank. The plank may get charred on the bottom, which is expected. Just as long as it doesn't burn through.
Instructions for Use:

Cherry wood adds a distinct, sweet flavor to the items cooked on it. Plus, the smoke from the plank will add a nice reddish tone.
Although they are best known for cooking fish, Grilling Planks are great for cooking just about anything. Here are some ideas.
