Submerge the Western® Cedar Grilling Plank in water for a minimum of one hour.
Place fish fillet (or other meat) on the Cedar Grilling Plank, skin down. Then apply your desired seasonings to the top side of the fillet.
Preheat your gas or charcoal grill to approximately 350 degrees. Then place the seasoned fillet and plank on the grill.
When the fish is golden brown, remove the plank from the grill. (Be careful-it’s HOT!)
Dispose of plank after use.
Be sure the flames are on the grill are low enough so that they do not burn the plank. The plank may get charred on the bottom, which is expected. Just as long as it doesn't burn through.
